The majority of deals we find are round-trip, but some work as one-way flights. When you click the booking link in the deal, once in Google Flights you can select one-way instead of roundtrip and see if the price still works for you.
However, one-way tickets are typically more expensive than roundtrip because business travelers often purchase them when they have specific travel requirements and the price isn't important; for example - if a business traveler needs to get somewhere for a meeting, the traveler books whatever flight does that, and their company foots the bill.
There are many reasons non-business travelers book one-way tickets, such as needing to travel for an emergency, but in this case, getting somewhere on time is also more important than price. As with business travel, airlines know that price is less critical and charge more money for one-way tickets, although the price will vary depending on the date, route, and airline you choose.
