Setting Flight Alerts for Specific Trips

If you have a specific trip in mind (you know where and when you want to go), you can set a Flight Alert and we'll let you know when the prices go up or down (or if they're holding steady). 

Flight Alerts is a feature exclusive to the mobile app. To set an alert, first download & login to the app using your existing membership login info. Then, follow these steps: 

1. On the map view home screen, tap Price Alerts
2. Tap Create price alert
3. Select your departure airport - your home airport is set as the default, but you can tap it to replace it with a different airport.
4. Select your destination - you can use the search bar to type in cities or airports. Keep in mind that you can only add an airport (not city) as your destination for the alert.
5. Tap Dates to open the calendar. Select your desired trip dates.
6. Input your number of travelers (currently you can set a max of 6)
7. Tap Save

To remove an alert, swipe it from right to left.

When you receive a Flight Alert, just tap the notification to see the deal details.

Keep in mind that this is the first version of Flight Alerts, and our team is rolling out updates and enhancements all the time! The current version does have the following known limitations:

• You can set a maximum of 6 travelers
• Alerts are for round-trip flights only
• Alerts are for economy class flights only
• No additional filtering, like airlines.

That said, the next update (coming in the next few weeks) will be alerts for higher fare classes for our Elite members (Premium Economy, Business & First). Additional enhancements will be following shortly!
