You can change your Going email address whenever you'd like. However, the email update process is different depending on whether you signed up using your Google account (Google single sign-on) or with your email address and password.
If you signed up using your email address and an account password:
1. Log into your account
2. Click on the 'Edit' link next to your current email address under 'Login and Security' on the Account Settings page
3. Enter your new email address and current password
4. 'Save Changes'
If you signed up using your Google or Apple account (single sign-on):
Please contact the Member Success Team at support@going.com for help with changing your login.
Troubleshooting changing your email address and an account password:
If the email address you'd like to change your account to is already in use (i.e. with another Going account), you will not be able to use that email address.
In this case, please contact support@going.com from the email address that needs to be removed (to confirm your account ownership), and one of our Member Success team members will assist you.
To change your email address within the Going mobile app, please follow the steps below:
- Open Settings in the Going App
- Select Login and Security
- Tap your existing email address
- Input your desired email address
- Tap Update
*IMPORTANT: If you log in with SSO (single-sign-on) through Apple or Google, you will not be able to change your email address in the app. Instead, you will need to update your login details with your SSO provider directly.
